There is a clump of these bushes about half-way up to Triund. I have been meaning to confirm its identity for some time but didn’t get around to do so. Is it Wikstroemia canescens? Please advise.

Following names chambai, chambat, chamliya, padaren, tilak ... are compiled at ENVIS – FRLHT for Wikstroemia canescens.
I cannot visualize padaren while tilak I assume is तिलक
My attempt at putting others in Devanagari script: चम्बई (or चंबई), चम्बट (or चंबट), चमलिया … these or their variants in Devanagari, are not found on internet.
Those familiar with these names, please help. Can padaren be an Urdu word ? May not be, … Could be some local dialect of Himachal or Uttarakhand. … or could be borrowed from Kashmiri. Both ways chambak, and chambeli can be written either half m or a dot at the top. Thanks … I meant to say that none of these चम्बई / चंबई / चम्बट / चंबट / चमलिया yield any result in Google search, thus was not confident whether these are valid. I think this belongs to Thymelaeaceae. Can this be an Edgeworthia sp.? or a Gnidia Looks more close to Edgeworthia gardneri. I tried yesterday night, but was not convinced. So decided not to say anything. Kindly also check Wikstroemia canascens, Thymeleaceae Thanks …, but this is not Wikstroemeria canescens…!!
