It could be Aglaia lawii

Fruits of Aglaia lawii are tapering towards the tip whereas these fruits are rounder.

Does it be a Dysoxylum sp?

The picture matches with Aglaia lawii as far as I know. This seems to be a variable species
Please refer to my separate post with pics of the fruits taken at Matheran last week.

Sharing some images of Aglaia lawii [Meliaceae], a tree with buttress roots.
The fruit in the last photograph is unilocular, bearing a single seed. An instance of the trilocular fruit with three seeds has been documented by … in an earlier thread linked herewith.

Observed on the 24th of April, 2016 in Matheran (courtesy of …).

Liked the 2nd & 6th most. Artistic

This unidentified tree i got in matheran hills,

Please check with species of Dysoxylum

may be Dysoxylum binectariferum Hook. f.

It seems to be Agalia lawii

Local Marathi name : Telya

Another Aglaia sp?

I am not at all knowing. Thanks very much … for your thought. Hoping somebody seconds it soon.

I am believing that the posted plant is Aglaia lawii (Wight) C.J.Saldanha – I referred to Shrikant ji’s eBook – Leaf-based identification for Trees of Sahyadri. Updating my notes in flickr.

Isn’t this an Aglaia sp with fruits rather dried up?

If you think so, it must be them, … !!!!! Thank you very much for the ID.

Appears close to images at Aglaia lawii subsp. lawii M.V. Viswanathan & K. Ramachandran

Or may be some other species (although fruits appear like that) as BSI flora of India states leaflets 1 – 2 pairs with a terminal one for Aglaia lawii

With the available photos, looks like aspects are falling short for a confident ID.
Thanks … for the most probable ID of Aglaia lawii subsp. lawii M.V. Viswanathan & K. Ramachandran
I am not familiar with these Aglaia spp. … we will let it remain at genus ID until someone validates the ID.

I would like to know the difference between Aglaia lawii (Wight) C.J.Saldanha AND Aglaia lawii subsp. lawii M.V. Viswanathan & K. Ramachandran

Aglaia lawii (Wight) C.J.Saldanha and Aglaia lawii subsp. lawii are one and the same.
Somewhere, someone wrongly inserted M.V. Viswanathan & K. Ramachandran behind Aglaia lawii subsp. lawii
