Please help to id this common garden flower found in a Bryants park, Kodaikanal.

Plant Habit-sub-shrub
Height/Length- 1 -2 m
Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- c. 10 x 3 cm; linear-ovate

I think Alstroemeria aurantiaca


I too initially thought this belongs to Lillaceae s.l. Yes, the plant is Alstroemeria aurea Graham of Alstroemeriaceae.

Yes … Alstroemeria aurantiaca is a synonym of A. aurea
