VOF Week: Apiaceae sp- ID request-8 –along Govindghat-Ghangaria route.: 4 images.
Govindghat -Ghangaria route was very rich in flora. Frequent rain during the trek has slowed down our pace but still whatever was possible, we had captured. This is yet another Apiaceae member seen along this trail. Date/Time: 10-08-2012/ 10:30AM Looks like Bupleurum lanceolatum but can’t be sure without a good view of the leaves. I hope Bupleurum marginatum perhaps bupleurm laceolatatum … suggestion of Bupleurum marginatum looks better.

Altitude 3000 mts Habit herb Habitat wild Height 2 feet This should be a Bupleurum species (may be B. hamiltonii)
Yes Bupleurum, but perhaps not perhaps not B. hamiltonii (syn: B. tenue) in which bracts are almost as long as flowers and leaves broader, almost oblong shaped. This could be B. falcatum Thank you … for your guidance and identification..
I think it should be Bupleurum marginatum as per images and details herein.
