Scandent shrubs, branchlets glabrous. Leaves 9-12 x 3-5 cm, elliptic-oblong, acute at both ends, glabrous, shining above; petiole to 1.5 cm long, slender. Corymb terminal or in axils of upper leaves, few flowered. Flowers to 8 cm across, sepals to 1.8 cm across, orbicular, puberulus; petals to 5 x 3 cm, obovate, white, cottony hairy; filaments to 7.5 cm long, glabrous. Berry 6-8 cm across, globose, glabrous.

Flowering and fruiting: February-October
Evergreen forests, also in sacred groves in the plains
South West India and Sri Lanka

Yes …, I saw this fruit in Valparai area (rain forest) of Western Ghats, but not the flowers.

Requesting to please ID this climbers growing wild by the roadside in Aguada, Goa in May 2014.
The pictures of the flowers and fruits have been clicked at different places although they being situated very close to each other (maybe 10-15 metres away).
Are both these sets Capparis moonii?
I had posted pics of Capparis moonii a few days ago (identified by …- efi thread) which seem to match the fruit pics here.

The last 3 photographs are of C.moonii, the first 3 are of a different climber.
