Hooghly Today : Clerodendrum sp.: (7 images) I am sorry i didn’t take a scale today.
It’s an ornamental climbing shrub, in Chandannagore, Hooghly.

Most likely Clerodendrum splendens

Yes, …, this is Clerodendrum splendens G.Don. Received ID from … also.

It flowers even in partial shade.

There were many of this Clerodendrum splendens around the compound of Chandannagore Sub-divisional Court, and they were growing in open under the shades of other trees, twining those trees.

Please ID this ornamental climber with pinkish red flowers. Photo was taken in Sri Lanka in Mar 2012.

Clerodendrum splendens, perhaps.

I agree with …

Yes; the ‘Flaming glory bower’. Ever since I have seen this at the Birla temple Delhi 25 years back I have been trying to grow this. It flourished; but sadly not a single bud yet. Still keeping a plant; hoping for some ‘glory’.
