Seen in fallow land  on the outskirts of Chennai.
Low spreading herb with distinctive leaves, the leaf blade being irregularly shaped and very deeply appressed along veins, tiny sessile white flowers , 2mm long.
Local people say it  grows along stream banks, “Seruppadai in Tamil”, used in Siddha medicine reputedly  for boils,  skin ailments experts may pls confirm
