Cordia subcordata.   Big tree

– It looks to me a species of Cordia with very smooth bark


– The tree is not Gmelina sps.  I am sure. The photographs were taken in the Botany department garden premises. There is a board indicating the name as Cordia subcordata. However, I will send photographs of the flowers when the tree blooms for confirmation..

the posted tree have no coriacious (leathery) leaves unlike C. sebestena


Quick websearch gives that C.sebestiana is an American plant.

A medium tree.
I have not come across a bunch of flowers on this tree.
