thanks for sharing the photo and informations about this plant. this plant indeed has a stunning leaf morphology and inflorescence.

…, the male flowers seen in DSC01382-1.JPG match description of C. burmannii.
While in C. peltata the male flowers form a sort of clustered head, and the calyx is separated almost to the base … this can be seen in Prashant’s post.

My photographs of the male flowers of Cyclea burmanni. These were identified by Dr.Almeida on a visit to my farm. 2 images.

The fruits of Cyclea peltata are ovoid drupes, brown or scarlet in color.
The fruits of Cyclea burmanni are white drupes.
In Cyclea burmanni, female inflorescence is a raceme about as long as the leaf-stalk.
Everything points to this plant being Cyclea burmanni.

My photographs of the female flowers and fruit of Cyclea burmanni. The photographs were taken at my farm at Shahapur. 5 images.

‘Cyclea burmanni’ is called ‘Thorali Paadavall’ ‘थोरली पाडावळ’ in Marathi. and…
‘Cyclea peltata’ is called ‘Dhaakati Paadavall’ ‘धाकटी पाडावळ’ in Marathi.

Both these species of Cyclea would perhaps share the names in regional languages (my feeling).
‘धाकटी पाडावळ dhaakati paadavall in Marathi is apt for Cissampelos pareira … just as it is called as लघु पाठा laghu patha in Sanskrit
Please refer earlier post
You have put names for C. peltata.

Fruit for id pl.
Location – Ambegaon (South Konkan, Maharashtra)
Date – April 2014

Image is not clear. Any other image of habitat and leaf?

No Sir, Extremely Sorry !

Cyclea peltata, just a guess!

Unfortunately my photo is almost devoid of leaves. Although the fruits look like Cycles peltata, the few leaves in the photo look quite different than C.peltata. I too am unsure.

Thanks, …, for the id.
Fruits are unmistakable in Cyclea peltata like this.
Leaves are of some other plant.
