Habitat was Red Loamy Soils, rocky, drought prone
Please help me identify this plant.

Pl. check with images at Careya arborea

Thank you for your efforts.
This plant is not Careya arborea.
There were thorns on the plant, on small branches Ref: – Image- unknown-5 (4),
The fruits are slightly bigger than a coffee fruit (1.6-1.9 diameter)

Please check for Catunaregam sps (syn. Randia sps)

It looks like Deccania pubescens var. candolleana (Wight & Arn.) Tirveng., Syn. Randia candolleana Wight & Arn. of Rubiaceae; it is common in E.ghats, Normally not spiny but thorns are occasionally seen.

Please check for Catunaregam sps (syn. Randia sps)
