Hard cane dendrobiums have been hybridized in and out so much that it is difficult to identify one without the proper identity. Even within a single crossing all the progeny can appear different. As … mentioned it can just broadly be described as a two-tone phalenopsis-type dendrobium hybrid.

orchid from Howrah 11/9/12 SK1: My colleague, …, collected this orchid from a nursery about a fortnight ago. He took some pictures, the first four, on yesterday night using the inbuilt flash, and the rest four, under natural diffused light, this morning at his residence.

I fail to furnish any more data on it.

I searched the net and found one apparently similar orchid, the name of which is mentioned as Dendrobium salaya.

Beautiful orchid. This is a Dendrobium hybrid.

Sir its Dendrobium Hybrid, this species commonly used in cut flower production.

Sir its Dendrobium Sonia a hybrid orchid which is cultivated as the major orchid cut flower producer in Malaysia, Thailand, and Philippines now in India also.

It is not Dendrobium Sonia. I am attaching a picture of Dendrobium Sonia from an exhibition at Thane.
