Herb for ID, Vikarabad, Telangana NAW-JUN18-01 : 6 posts by 3 authors. Attachments (2)

Kindly help identify this small herb found in a mango orchard on the edge of a scrub forest near Vikarabad, photographed in May 2018.
Height of herb about 10 cms. leaves about 1 cm, maybe smaller.

Thanks, … A Fabaceae member.

the Pod suggests it as Desmodium

may be Desmodium gangeticum variety

It may not be D.gangeticum for I had doubt about the size given; is the leaf 1-foliate or 3 foliate

Looks like Desmodium velutinum.
