Epilobium parviflorum from Gulmarg, Kashmir: Epilobium parviflorum Schreber, Spicil. Fl. Lips. 146, 155. 1771

syn: Epilobium vestitum Benth. ex Wall.; Epilobium parviflorum Schreber var. vestitum (Benth. ex Wall.) Clarke
Erect robust perennial herb similar to E. hirsutum in 4-lobed stigma but quite distinct in its sub-sessile (and not amplexicaule) leaves, broadest in the basal 1/3 part (and not upper half), smaller deeply notched pink narrower petals, all parts of plant with long villous hairs, densely so on lines below the leaf.

Some fotos for you and specially for …, from my garden.
…, now you know why I am interested in seeds and seedpods. They look so beautiful and every plant has a differnt method of spreading seeds.
In fact Epilobium parviflorum is a weed and grows everywhere all the summer.
After making fotos I throw away the seeds and still there are more than enough plants in my garden.

I had been seeing these matchstick projections on my earlier trips to Triund and suspected them to be Epilobium species. I finally found these flowering yesterday and think them to be E. parviflorum. Please confirm.

Which Epilobium ??

Epilobium sp.

I am not satisfied with the id as Epilobium brevifolium subsp. brevifolium, due to its height and multiple branching. Inflorescence also looks different.
This appears more closer.

Thank you … It could be since images of both posts were from close location.

Help me to identify this Epilobium sp.: 3 images.
Location: Kupwara jammu and Kashmir.

I hope E. hirsutum

I think it is close to Epilobium parviflorum Schreb. as per comparative images at Epilobium.
Looks different from images at Epilobium hirsutum L.

Epilobium hirsutum L. ?

I think Epilobium parviflorum Schreb. as per images and details herein and as per keys from Flora of Pakistan:

4 (1) Stigma distinctly four-lobed; stems covered with long spreading hairs. (5)
+ Stigma entire, clavate to capitate; stems subglabrous or covered with short incurved or gland-tipped hairs. (6)
5 (4) Leaves distinctly clasping, petals 6-20 mm long, purplish. Epilobium hirsutum
+ Leaves subsessile but not clasping; petals 3.2-9 mm long, pink. Epilobium parviflorum

Looks correct.
