Had the same thought …, but did not dare to put the guess. I am convinced of the ID.


That is quite unavoidable … we usually do that…only our panel of experts are exceptions…

Nice plant, reminds me sub-alpine and lower alpine zones where it grow with other tall forbs.

Thank you … A new genus for me! I do not recall flowers having an aroma. Are they aromatic?

Filipendula vestita: 1 high res. image.
While travelling from anantnag to Daksum forest area. Found this plant in full bloom in july 2018 along the side of bringi river stream. 

Location: Daksum kokernag anantnag, J&K.
