Karthikeyan et al., (2009) have mentioned following species of Gomphrena in India:
  1. Gomphrena celosioides Mart. (syn. of Gomphrena serrata L. as per Catalogue of Life)
  2. G. ciliata Raf. (Introduced)
  3. G. dispersa Standl.  (syn. of Gomphrena serrata L. as per Catalogue of Life)
  4. G. globosa L.
  5. G. serrata L.

Attempts have been made to incorporate most of the species available in India & nearby areas with details & keys directly or through links as far as possible. It’s quite possible that there may be some discrepancy in the accepted names & synonyms taken from other links.

If someone can provide complete list of Indian species with source references it will be wonderful.

Thanks a lot, …, As per ITIS & The Plant List, Gomphrenadispersa Standl. is a synonym of Gomphrena serrata L.
However, I could not find much details of G. ciliata Raf. Pl. give synonyms given by the authors if possible. 

Gomphrena ciliata is an introduced species (as mentioned by authors) and no synonyms were given. It is an unresolved species in TPL 2013.
