Could this be the plant what has been described as Limnophila hirsuta In Bengal Plants, the current accepted name of which might be Limnophila chinensis (Osbeck) Merr.?
About a fortnight ago i received a mail from Taiwan. …………………….his. We had a few correspondence regarding various Limnophila species.
……………………………..
Regarding other two species i copy (highlighted in yellow) part of her mails –
“About the first post https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups=#!topic/indiantreepix/zPGSUbtWrvw , it might be Limnophila hirsuta (Heyne ex Benth.) Benth. in Prain’s “Bengal Plants”. The name now become a synonym of Limnophila chinensis (Osbeck) Merr. Actually, the plant L. chinensis in China has purple flowers, and pale blue in Vietnam. It’s my first time to see pink flowers on L. chinensis.

About this species (in this thread) she opines. “….it might be Limnophila hirsuta (Heyne ex Benth.) Benth. in Prain’s “Bengal Plants”…...“. AT the same time she pointed out the difference in flower colour.
My reply was that low end digi-cam fails to produce true colour in the blue-violet spectrum of light.
It should be Limnophila aromatica as per references herein.

Here is a herb or shrublet from Satajaan Bird Sanctuary, Assam,
found blooming in December. Reminds me of Lindernia family, but I have not been able to identify it.
Any help is welcome.
What about Centranthera??
Is it Limnophila repens? Yes Limnophila
Do check L. chinensis. Leaves are very variable in that species.
Limnophila aromatica (Lam.) Merr. ??
To me it appears to agree best with Limnophila aromatica, where leaves are opposite or in whorls of 3, Corolla white, blue-purple, or pink, 1-1.3 cm, sparsely and finely glandular, inside white villous. References:
