Grass at Maharashtra Nature Park, Mumbai on the 17th,August,11.
Covering the ground in monsoon, leaves very soft in texture.

Yes, I think … is right, Oplismenus sp., only flowering twig can help in species fixation.

There were no flowers when the picture was taken.
But I will keep a watch for flowers during my next visit to the park.
