Perilla again: Perilla frutescens var. frutescens from Dakpathar-GSMAY2016/05 : 2 posts by 2 authors.

I had earlier uploaded two types of Perilla frutescens but without satisfactory conclusion for me:
I am now more or less convinced that they are two different plants. This plant from Dakpathar is true Perilla frutescens var. frutescens.

An uncommon plant in Chakrata area, Perilla frutescens.. if I am right in identification…

… I think yours is much closer to mine still inidentified plant.

Reply from another thread:

“I go for Perilla only as leaves also bigger in size. Ofcourse not Elsholtzia as in that bracts are very prominent.”
“Is there any other species of Perilla other than Perilla frutescens in Uttarakahand ?”
“I could only find one species of Perilla in FOP, FON & FOC i.e. Perilla frutescens (Linnaeus) Britton”

.

Help me to identify this plant sp. From Ganderbal kashmir: 3 high res. images.

Perilla frutescens (L.) Britton ??
