This plant is Piptanthus nepalensis [Fabaceae] . Synonyms: Baptisia nepalensis, Piptanthus bicolor, Thermopsis laburnifolia.

I think it could be Piptanthus nepalensis and let me clear it is not a climber. It is hardy perennial semi-evergreen shrub common inside Quercus semecarpifolia and Abies spectabilis forest above 2500-3500m asl in Himalaya.

Saw this small sized tree on the way to VOF just at the start of the trail near Ghangaria, Uttarakhand in Aug 2018.
Requested to please provide ID.

Appears to be some Fabaceae member
