I feel plant at Karnala may be Pogostemon heyneanus Benth. as per images & discussions herein. Also check your Yeoor images. Thanks …
I have one plant labelled as Pogostemon heyneanus that I found in Goa at some spice garden. The ones in the post I believe are P. purpuracens; hope we get validating comments. At the page Pogostemon purpurascens Dalzell, we have pictures of my plant inserted. I am basing this on discussion & keys at DV :: 29DEC12 – 0143 :: Pogostemon ¿ cablin / heyneanus ? at a spice farm, Goa I have removed images of Karnala & Yeoor.
