. As per efi thread: Reinwardtia cicanoba (Syn: Reinwardtia tetragyna), which is supposed to have bigger leaves and bigger flowers as compared to the Yellow Flax (Reinwardtia indica). It is found in the Himalayas. For me, a clear difference between the two is that Reinwardtia cicanoba flowers have a longer tube than Reinwardtia indica flowers, which is what makes them look like a morning glory. .

This morning glory type flower is found growing in fields in Indo-Nepal border region and Nepal. Found blooming on November. Interestingly, leaves don’t seem to be heart-shaped at all. I am stumped by this one. Any ideas? Would it be possible to get seeds of the plant? It is beautiful and could well be introduced into our gardens. This seems to be Reinwardtia trigyna of Linaceae I think you are on the dot! Because of some confusion, I had been thinking of Reinwardtia trigyna as a synonym of Reinwardtia indica. In fact, first look at this yellow flower with reddish nectar-lines in the throat, reminded me of Reinwardtia indica. Thanks a million! Sorry, I got mixed up again! Reinwardtia trigyna is a synonym of Reinwardtia indica . Arunachal flora-5. : Attachments (3). 6 posts by 5 authors.

I tried to look for its fruiting image on net, but did not find one.
I also tried at GBIF, but could not see one in the thumbnails. Pl. see few specimens as below:
Fruit/seed pattern matches with R.indica and R.grandulifera but leaf pattern matches with R. cicanoba, I guess! .
