Saxifraga pallida (Saxifragaceae) from Uttarakhand: Aug_2015_DSR_06 : 2 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (3)

Saxifraga pallida Wall. ex Ser. (= Saxifraga micrantha Edgew.) is a small (5-15cm) herb in moist shady slopes, below rocks in alpine zones of Uttarakhand.
Here photographed in Khalya alpine meadow near Munsyari (Pithoragarh), Uttarakhand in July 2015.
Basal leaves are indicated by white arrow as there are leaves of other species too.

Two drastic plants, one is too tiny almost sessile flowers Saxifraga jacquemontiana and one is with lax panicles.
Thank you once again for sharing with us.
