Seen while travelling to Nasik in the ghats. No flowers. Senecio like Senecio bombayensis ? I will try to revisit the place when I’m travelling next and check if the plant is flowering. .   Herb ID request – RK118 – 22-Aug-2013 : Attachments (2). 4 posts by 3 authors.
Requesting id of this small herb seen recently in Karjat.
The leaves are also quite small, maybe around 3 to 4 cms. but they are quite interesting since the under-side of the leaves is pink. Flowers / fruits not seen. … Begonia ? any thing like hemigraphis….? Thanks a lot … for the possible ids. I hope to see it flowering to be able to identify it properly. Perhaps Plectranthus scutellaroides Thanks, …, I do not think so as per Plectranthus scutellarioides Maybe a Pogostemon sp. Any chance for Senecio species like Senecio bombayensis It’s very hard to say with only these images and immature leaves. .
Leaf and habitat images ?? Do you have other images? Some possibility of Senecio bombayensis Balakr., but difficult to say without leaves. |
