Sida acuta – The oil from the plant is applied externally to control pain and is an excellent remedy for arthritis and related problem. A paper published in the Research Journal of Pharmacology claims that, with its substantial antimicrobial activity, the common sida can be very in the treatment of common ailments, particularly for HIV patients.

No flower was found.
September 2019 Check with Sida spinosa I did, earlier. The leaves are longer (~7-8 cm) than spinosa (~4 cm), it seems. Here are some more pictures from another side of the forest. I guess this is Sida acuta Burm.f. Sida acuta ! I also think it is closer to images at Sida acuta Burm.f. rather than those at Sida spinosa L. .
