Bracts papery in fruit upto 3 cm long. Calyx 4 mm long, corolla 6 mm long, 6 – 8 lobed.

This is Symphorema involucratum [Bhingri] as their corollas are 6 -8 lobed, whereas in S.polyandrum they have 12 – 16 lobes.

Yes it is correct

I have only seen its fallen flowers. Surely in my wish list.

Thank you … , I too didnt get to see it in bloom, just dried up calyces and inflorescences.

It is frequently available in the dry deciduous forests of southern India
