It is Symphoramea involucratum – The FOI site says it to be from Family :Verbenaceae while the plant list Kew says that it belongs to Lamiaceae….? may be a recent change

Seen in the Plus valley near Dongarwadi -Tamhini.
This is Symphorema involucratum [Bhingri] as their corollas are 6 -8 lobed, whereas in S.polyandrum they have 12 – 16 lobes. Sending a few photographs.

I have only seen its fallen flowers. Surely in my wish list. Thank you … , I too didnt get to see it in bloom, just dried up calyces and inflorescences.
It is frequently available in the dry deciduous forests of southern India
