Nice pictures of a unique orchid species. The close ups reminded me flowers of the family Myristicaceae.

Seems cultivated as you mentioned the distribution Sikkim to Assam. Or the distribution is Kumaon to AP?

An epiphyte with flowers not immediately indicating as an orchid species. Special one, thank you for showing.

I have seen wild plants in Gori Valley. One of the pics is infact in wild.
Reported from western Himalaya.
