ID request- 230111-PKA3:
I had seen this tree dominating the forest near Yana (Karnataka).
Date/Time: 20-01-2011 / 05:00PM
Location: Yana, karnataka

Habitat: Wild
Plant Habit: Tree (3 to 5m)

– it does look like B. malabarica. Here are two links for this sp.

Not Debregeasia longifolia which has oblong to lanceolate leaves and dichotomously branched inflorescence.

Pl follow this link: http://www.efloras.org/object_page.aspx?object_id=50542&flora_id=2
To me this also looks like Boehmeria glomerulifera (B. malabarica).

Something close to Trema ???

It is close to Boehmeria glomerulifera

Actually it is difficult to make out from your images since you rarely post full plant/ habitat

I concur with … Apart from  enlarged images please post the natural size or slightly enlarged   post(s), so also Habit picturers, which would be helpful to ID by experts.

Images of Trema seems to be trees have very height that overgrown with many lengthy branches full of leaves but my plant seems like a bush, doesn’t have lengthy branches and not overgrown. It is trimmed by road cleaners regularly (please note in the picture, some are cuts),
