Climber for ID from Nahan-2011:
This twining shrub was frequent outside the periphery of Renuka Ji lake, Nahan (H.P.) and was shot in April 2011, during our educational trip to that area. can this be an Apocynaceae member? Kindly help to id.

This can be Stropanthus or Beaumontia. Need to see flowers to be sure.

I will try to capture this in flowering, I feel this can be Beaumontia grandiflora

Seems like Beaumontia grandiflora only…

i think this is not Beaumontia grandiflora
please see this Toptropicals

About the identity of this plant, I have received a response from … of Nahan again. He has identified the plant as Chonemorpha fragrans. He has a paper on reporting the same from the area. Your views please….

Photographed on my property at Shahpur. Unfortunately have no further information.

I think this is Chonemorpha grandiflora

Thanks … Have Chonemorpha fragrans [which is now called C.grandiflora] on my property and it does look the same. Sending a few photographs.

Is Chonemorpha occurring naturally at Shahapur or did you plant it? Surprised that it is found so far north.

Affirmative. Both are planted but collected from different places.
