I seem to know the name but can’t recollect it.
I think it is some Malpighia species. Could be Cotoneaster microphyllus but not very sure. flower is not a malphigia you dont have more pictures? of the whole plant? and fruits? Thanks for a possible id.
I think I have seen this in Jijamata Udyan, Mumbai too.
It is a very common ornamental plant.
I have never come across fruits.
