Ranunculaceae Week: Thalictrum pubescens from California: Thalictrum pubescens Pursh, Fl. Amer. sept. 2:388. 1813-1814 syn: Thalictrum polyganum Muhl.  
Tall herbaceous plant reaching up to 2.5 m in height, leaves compound with firm leaflets; flowers white, in large panicles, filaments clavate, achenes sessile.
