what a study of tree should be

There is a confusion between Lafoensia pacari St.-Hil. & Lafoensia vandelliana Cham & Schltdl.
Some sites consider them as same as per the link below (But not The Plant List & Catalogue of Life):
The check list of Rani Bagh (by Renee ji & others) states it to be Lafoensia vandelliana & other posts also identify it by the same name as below:
To me both looks same as per the above links and as per the following link:
Seeking your views in the matter pl. before taking any final decision in the matter for efi.

Flowers and leaves as seen on the medium size tree at Lalbag banglore

in the last week of July 14. the tree bark was rough and fissured.


It somewhat resembles Duabanga of Sonneratiaceae. Not sure though.


It is Lafoensia vandelliana Cham & Schltdl.
