Earlier under Cynoglossum or Paracaryum now Hackelia, having much broader leaves than either

As the leaves are distinctly cordate, so it should be Hackelia macrophylla

Boraginaceae Week: Hackelia macrophylla (Brand) I. M. Johnston from Dachhigam, Kashmir: Hackelia macrophylla (Brand) I.M. Johnston in Contr. Gray. Herb. 68:45. 1923

Syn: Cynoglossum macrophyllum Royle ex Benth.; Lappula macrophylla Brand
Spotted this plant for the first time in Kashmir. The species is easily separated from more commoner Hackelia uncinata by more robust habit, larger flowers (13-16 mm across white in colour with blue or purplish spots as base base, lower cauline leaves cordate at base, up to 15 cm long, and leaves glabrous on upper surface.
