However, POWO and CoL consider it as a syn. of Nepeta ciliaris Benth., though it may be different. I feel inflorescence pattern and petals design looks slightly different. N.ciliaris, coerulescens, discolor, elliptica, hindostana, laevigata, lamiopsis and staintonii
are listed in the book. I have seen some difference in petal designs in this genus. Forwarding herewith a publication on Nepeta sps. Among those listed, N.ciliaris is the closest. .
