040911-MS -43- Green Rabbit bush.: Yellow yellow every where. I am attaching the photographs of Green Rabbit bush (Chrysothamus viridifloris)
Photographed on 09.11. 2009. Place: Mono lake area, California.
The shrub is very dominant around the monolake (salt lake) off the Toiga pass/ Yosemite on the way to Mammoth. I understand that this is the most abundant shrub at Salt Tufa, around the lake.
During the fall season the shrubs are in full bloom and give a distinct look to the mono lake area with golden yellow blooms
