Wild Aquatic Plant for ID : Srinagar : 171011 : AK-2:  Taken at Dal Lake, Srinagar on the 10th of Sept,11.
Found growing in the water near the houseboats with stalks having tiny pink flowers.

I have these pics. This plant was almost 1.5m tall.
Location: Dal Lake Srinagar.
This should be Lythrum salicaria (Family: Lythraceae).
