Yesterday, i was telling about this to my students. Today i will show your photo also to them. So many type of figures are there in Orchid flowers !!!!!!! Natures miracles!!! 


Yes orchid flowers show so much of variation of shape size and color.
But there are two things in common, labellum and gynostemium and with these even a kid can say that its an orchid. But trust me to identify the largest family in the world, it really is a tough job.
Even there are orchids, which doesnt show very distinct labellum like in sub-family Apostasioideae. Then it becomes tricky.
