unusual looks…. the operculum is open in each… still waiting for dinner…

In Pitcher plants, lid is always open.
Once the insect goes in and looks up it cant see the sky. And the sides are incurved. Thats the mechanism :).

okkkk,. then.. it means I had harbored a wrong mechanism in my head…
just like the sundew I thought this also closes shop when dinner walks in…
