Plant Habit- Grass Habitat- Wild Location- Pune Date/Time- Nov 2010. it look like Heteropogon contortus
Is it by any chance what we call as Boru in Marathi?
A type of reed grass, though the habitat does not show it. writing pens are made from Boru yes Heteropogon contortus
Please check it may be Pseudodichanthium Bor.

IMG 6177 is Sorghum halepense. Others are Heteropogon triticeus.
