Pl. go through Osteospermum (‎‎‎‎‎Asteraceae (Compositae)‎) page with images of species (done by me) in efloraofindia.

If you find any mis-identification, pl. let us know. If anybody can send images of other species of this genera (for incorporation in the website), if any, it will be really nice.

Also, if anybody is interested to take up the activity of inserting images on efloraofindia pages from efloraofindia posts, pl. let us know.

Perhaps we will have to have relook at our entries regarding Dimorphotheca and Osteospermum. Genus Dimorphotheca is generally confined to annual species and Osteospermum the perennial species, but TPL has compounded situation by listing Osteospermum ecklonis under Dimorphotheca, and to make things worse Dimorphotheca fruticosa and Osteospermum fruticosum are both listed as accepted names as are also Dimorphotheca jucundum and Osteospermum jucunda. I am working on how to separate the three species. Hope to find solution soon.
