Both Malayalam and English spelling are correct Great choice of Tamil name, … This exact name has been applied to this species by the Malayali tribes in Tiruvannamalai district, Tamil Nadu. I documented this several years ago during my PhD work. Kannada names & English transliteration are correct. It must be reviewed once again.
The same Malayalam spelling കാട്ടഅവരയ്ക്ക that you recently mentioned is more correct, so it is കാട്ടഅവരയ്ക്കവള്ളി
