Location: Just before the first bridge in Valley of Flowers National Park c. 3250 Mtrs height .
Abundance : Single sighting. this is not Peristrophe paniculata … but, do not know the ID. But …, that is how it is mentioned in Keshav Murthy’s book Pg. 250 shows Peristrophe paniculata … but your posted plant is different. …, look at page 251 (and not 250), it shows Peristrophe paniculata I jumped to page 250 because it shows P. paniculata … did not read that it is put as P. roxburghiana. Apologies. It is none of the two. Flower structure is totally different. Some more shots with leaves should help. This plant is Justicia pubigera Yes Justicia pubigera

Acanthaceae species for ID from Uttarakhand : Attachments (2). 2 posts by 2 authors.
This Acanthaceae member was seen near Patal Ganga area (1500m) during Sept. 2013 in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Since it was at inaccessible place I could managed to take only pics which are also not very sharp. Hope to get ID at least to generic level. Should be Justicia pubigera.. nice looking flower..
I have seen this near Valley of Flowers and also in Gori Valley area..

This one was closer to Naddi and I had to be content with these images in the low evening light. I think this is Justicia pubigera. Please correct me if I am wrong.

It seems to be Dicliptera roxburghii (Acanthaceae).
This is not Dicliptera chinensis (L.) Juss., but appears to be something else. This is Andrographis species
I could not find a match as per comparative images at Andrographis
I think only species reported from the area so far is Andrographis paniculata, from which it looks different.
the floral structure, (corolla upper 2+lower 3 lipped) stamen structure indicates it belongs to Andrographis only
