VOF Week: Cuscuta for Id from Valley: This looks to be a different species of Cuscuta, as the colour of stem
as well as of the flowers varies, the size of flowers and stem diameter was also lesser than C. reflexa….any ideas please…. I hope Cuscuta europaea Agreed Sir

Habit: shrub, cannot recollect height; flower about 5 – 7 mm across … wild guess: member of Polygonaceae Interesting find … Good – sharp photographs. Did U use yr new camera?
Yes, used both cameras. Close-ups with the new one Lumix G3 – wide with the earlier G1. ….sorry to have doubts…..to me this seems very likely that..the flowers belong to Cuscuta and not the shrub… Very true … I am rubbing my eyes now !! Thanks … The flowers were so closely attached to the shrub that I was at complete loss to guess any thing. References:
