Rosa fortuneana Lindl., Lindley & Paxton, Paxton’s Fl. Gard. 2:71. 1851 “fortuniana“
A supposed hybrid between Rosa banksiae and R. laevigata the plant is a woody climber similar to R. banksiae in general appearance but flowers white, larger, occurring singly and not in umbels and pedicels and calyx being hispid.
