Please help me to identify this orchid found on grasslands of high altitude.
Leaf: up to 10cm long
Plant height: up to 20cm long
Flower: 1cm across
Date: 22 Oct 2012
Place: Western Catchement, Mukruti NP, Nilgiris
Alt.: c 2350 m asl

Yes its Habenaria but I have no idea is it cephalotes


This is interesting. Net is too slow so cant download the pics, but yes, this should be Habenaria cephalotes Lindl. and endemic orchid from Western Ghats.
