request for a liverwort and a moss id…..place-ambala cantt….habitat-garden: please help me to identify this liverwort and moss…


It is very difficult to identify the liverworts and moss without actual examination, the picture posted lacks the sufficient closeup. More important is presence of any reproductive structures.
I can, however, have guesses for the two.. The liverwort if you can see crystalline structures on the thallus, this can be Riccia crystallina and the moss can be any Physcomitrium sp.
