Nilgiris: Herb for identification 201112MK02:

Please help me in identifying the posted herb found among the grasses of high altitude Nilgiris.
Leaf: 6 cm long
Flower: 2 cm across
Date: 21 Oct 2012
Place: Western Catchment, Nilgiris, TN
Alt.: 2300 m asl

I think this is Asyneuma fulgens common in bare slopes or plateau slopes, very common in Palni Hills.

Many thanks for the identification.
