This small tree or large shrub was shot near Shilling….and I think this is Cocculus laurifolius…..I hope you will correct me if I am wrong..

Cocculus laurifolius, I hope the id is right..
A small tree seen at a resort in Bhimtal on 23/3/13.
Was told that it remains green always.
Was given a local name for it which I can’t recollect.
Any idea about the id?

Cocculus laurifolius (Menispermaceae) is an evergreen shrub or small tree commonly occurring in lower hills of Uttarakhand.

I think the ID of my plant needs to be checked. It looks much different from the ones posted by Rawat ji and Nidhan ji.
There are a lot of variations in the shape of leaves in this species. Specimens from Jawa, Peru etc (RBG, Kew)look different from south Indian plants.
