Plant Habit-Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb- Tree
Height/Length- 2.5 meters
Flower – Yellow, many petals (around 20), 8 cm across, many stamens (around 80), three fourth stamens were red at the base.
I could get the closeup of flower as one of the tree was almost prostrate.

Cochlospermum vitifolium (Bixaceae): Other names: buttercup tree, silk cotton tree,

Size: was a small-medium sized tree. Maybe 20ft. Naturally also grows to a small height only.
Found this in a nursery near my home in Bangalore. Very similar to Cochlospermum religiosum (yellow silk cotton tree), but the flower has lot more petals (can say a “double version”)
Gardener kept the flower near his deity’s feet.
The tree is almost leafless when in flower
