Req for identification of Vicia sp.: Please identify attached Vicia sp. It is a wild tendril climber reaching up to 5 meters and I collected it at 314m altitude (Tarai land) in Uttarakhand in September 2012. It is closer to V.bakeri and V.rigidula but both of these are temperate species growing above 1500m altitude in the Himalaya. appreciate the salient features photography
Both V. bakeri and V. rigidula have distinctly dentate stipules. Here they are clearly sagittate-hastate and entire. V. tenuifolia may be most likely, V. villosa is another one to consider.
It appear me vicia tenuifolia too.
Thank you for help. I shall consider it V.tenuifolia till I confirm it from Central National Herbarium, Howrah.
