Cactus for ID : Flower Show,Mumbai : 050313 : AK-3:  2 images.

A beautiful cactus seen at the flower show in Mumbai during Feb,2011.
A potted, cultivated, ornamental plant.
It has different color bands.

Echninocereus rigidissimus… possibly ssp. rubispinus

Fun! Yup, I agree with … on this one, Echninocereus rigidissimus , known locally as “Arizona rainbow cactus”. Nice big specimen too!

Could be, Echinocereus rigidissimus var. rubrispinus

It seems to match with Echinocereus rigidissimus var. rubrispinus on searching.
Will wait for experts to comment.

Cactus For ID : Nasik : 200714 : AK-33 : 6 posts by 2 authors. Attachments(1).
A small, cultivated Cactus seen at a Cactus house in Nasik on 27/2/14.

Would need a side view …, Really cannot tell what it is.

This is the only picture I have. Will try to take more pictures when I visit next.

Looks like a Echinocereus rigidissimus var. rubrispinus graft, but need a “profile” pic to tell for sure.
